Air conditioning for homes, offices and shops
We design, fit, service and repair split and multi-split air conditioning across Greater Manchester and Yorkshire. Most of what we put in is wall-mounted or ceiling cassette units, sized for the room and the people in it. If you already have a system and it's struggling, we'll look at that too.

Split or multi-split
A split system is one indoor unit connected to one outdoor unit. It suits a single office, a bedroom or a small shop floor, and if it ever fails, nothing else is affected.
A multi-split runs two or more indoor units from one outdoor unit. That saves wall space outside and keeps the pipework to one condenser, which helps on terraced properties or buildings where you can only put one unit on the back wall. The trade-off is that every room depends on that one outdoor unit, so we talk it through with you before deciding.
Heating as well as cooling
Most modern split systems are heat pumps. Switch them to heating mode and they pull heat from the outside air and bring it indoors, which makes them a sensible way to warm an office or a conservatory in spring and autumn. We set the system up so heating and cooling both work properly at handover, and show you how to use the controls.
Why servicing matters
Filters clog, coils collect dust and condensate drains block. None of that stops a system overnight, but it makes the compressor work harder for the same result, so you pay more to run it and wear it out sooner. A blocked drain is also the usual reason for water dripping from an indoor unit.
Larger systems also fall under F-Gas rules, which require regular leak checks by a certified engineer once the refrigerant charge passes a set threshold. We're F-Gas certified through Refcom, and after every visit you get a written report by email with the readings we took, what we checked and photos of the equipment.

Questions we get asked
How often should air conditioning be serviced?
Once a year suits most homes and offices. Systems that run all day, or sit in dusty or greasy air like a shop near a kitchen, usually need servicing more often, and we'll tell you if yours does.
Do you work on systems you didn't install?
Yes. We service and repair systems whoever fitted them, as long as we can get parts for the make and model.
Can air conditioning heat my home or office?
Most split systems we fit are heat pumps, so they heat as well as cool. Whether one can be your only heating depends on the building and the size of unit, which we'd work out at survey.
Why is my indoor unit dripping water?
The usual cause is a blocked or badly falling condensate drain. It can also be a frozen coil from a dirty filter or low refrigerant, which we'd check on the visit.
