Office air conditioning: cassettes and wall units, North Wales

In an office with a suspended ceiling, a four-way cassette takes the place of a single ceiling tile. It spreads air in every direction, so a meeting room gets even cooling without anyone sitting in a draught. These ones line up with the grid and the lighting panels around them.

Where there's no ceiling void, we use wall-mounted splits. Each one has its own isolator mounted alongside, so it can be made safe for servicing without switching off anything else in the room.

A comms room needs cooling day and night, so the network cabinets there have a dedicated wall unit of their own. Outside, the condensing unit is bracketed high on the wall above the doorway, so it doesn't take up ground space or get knocked.
