Outdoor units and insulated pipework, Manchester

On this job the outdoor units sit in a row along the side of the building, with the refrigerant pipework run at ground level beside them.

The pipes are fully insulated and held on supports to keep them off the ground and stop them sagging between fixings. Keeping the insulation intact along the whole run stops condensation forming on the pipes and stops the system losing efficiency on long runs.
