Commercial fridges and chillers for shops, cafés and pubs
We install, maintain and repair the refrigeration that food and drink businesses rely on: display fridges, chiller cabinets, bottle coolers, serve-over counters and back-bar units. We work across Greater Manchester and Yorkshire, plus Lancashire, Cheshire and Merseyside. We only work on commercial equipment, so we can't help with a fridge or freezer at home.

Integral and remote systems
An integral cabinet has its compressor and condenser built in. It's quick to move and simple to replace, but it puts its heat straight back into your shop or bar, which on a warm day means the cabinet and your air conditioning are fighting each other.
A remote system puts the condensing unit outside or in a plant area and runs pipework to the cabinets. Although it may cost more to install, the shop floor stays cooler and quieter. We'll tell you which makes sense for your layout and how many cabinets you're running.
Planned maintenance
Most breakdowns we get called to started as something small. A condenser coil packed with dust, a split door gasket or an iced-up evaporator all make the compressor run longer, and eventually something gives, often on the busiest day of the week.
A maintenance visit covers coil cleaning, gaskets, drains, fan motors, temperatures and refrigerant checks. You get a written report by email afterwards with readings and photos, which is useful to keep alongside your food safety records.
When something breaks
If a cabinet is running warm, ring or WhatsApp us on 07575 744378. We're on the phone 7am to 7pm, seven days a week. Tell us what the display is reading and whether the compressor or fans are running, and we can often narrow it down before we arrive.

Questions we get asked
How often should commercial refrigeration be serviced?
Every six months is a sensible starting point for most shops and bars. Kitchens, bakeries and anywhere with flour or grease in the air clog coils faster and may need visits more often.
Do you repair domestic fridges and freezers?
No. We only work on commercial refrigeration, so for a fridge or freezer at home you'd need a domestic appliance engineer.
Do you work on equipment you didn't install?
Yes. We service and repair commercial refrigeration whoever fitted it.
My display fridge is running warm. What can I check first?
Make sure nothing is blocking the air grilles at the front and back of the shelves, and look at whether the condenser behind the grille is caked in dust. If it's still warm, move stock somewhere cold and give us a call.
